Navline by Lagoon is now live. It is an independent NAV service for any vault or fund: every position valued, on-chain and off-chain, by a third party, then pushed on-chain on your schedule. Learn more at [navline.xyz](https://navline.xyz).
</Callout>

Today, most vault NAVs are computed and pushed by the managers themselves. The same party that runs the strategy also decides what it is worth, and depositors have to take that number on trust. That sits uneasily with a sector built on the promise that anyone can verify anything.

We think that should change. Navline gives vaults an independent, automated NAV that anyone can verify: a third party values the portfolio, every figure is traced back to where it came from, and the result goes on-chain without anyone having to copy a number from a spreadsheet. As vaults take on more capital and strategies spread across protocols, chains and off-chain venues, a NAV that only the manager has checked is no longer enough.

## An independent NAV, for any vault or fund

Navline is built to fit the way you already operate. If you run your own NAV engine, it gives you a second pair of eyes: keep proposing your own figure and compare it with Navline's before each settlement, so a mispriced position gets caught before it reaches your depositors. If you would rather not run that machinery at all, Navline takes over the full computation and, appointed as the vault's valuation manager, pushes the NAV on-chain itself.

And it works with any vault or fund infrastructure. Whether you are incorporated in Switzerland, the BVI or Panama, and whether you use Lagoon or not, we will value your positions irrespective of the jurisdiction. Navline serves on-chain vaults and traditional fund structures alike, because an independent valuation should not depend on where the fund is domiciled or which contracts hold the assets.

## Every position, transparently priced

Navline values the full portfolio, position by position, across protocols, chains and off-chain venues. A lending position on one chain, a Pendle PT on another, a balance on an exchange account: each one becomes its own line, priced into the fund's denomination. It is built for complex, multi-venue strategies, the kind that are hardest to value by hand, and we add new protocol integrations at no extra cost.

By default, Navline picks the most reliable route for each token, drawing on the deepest sources available. If you have a view on how a position should be priced, you can pin the exact route you want, for the whole fund, a single position or a single market, and Navline will follow it every time. Whichever route is used, it is disclosed to depositors and investors.

## Under the hood

Every price is traced back to its source. A token rarely has a single price: it is valued through a route of steps, from an oracle to a pool to a vault rate. Navline records each step of that route with a link to the source and the block it was read at, so any figure in a NAV can be followed back to the exact data that produced it. Each valuation ships with a report that lays this out line by line: every position, every token, the route and source of each price, the block read on each chain.

The computation is reproducible by construction. A valuation reads each chain at a recorded block with a versioned pricing configuration, so running it again on the same blocks and the same configuration returns the same NAV. Every configuration change is versioned and every run is recorded, which means a NAV from last month can be replayed and checked today, by you, your depositors or your auditor.

Off-chain positions get the same treatment. On-chain balances are verifiable by nature; exchange accounts or a lender's loan book are not, and that is usually where trust assumptions creep back in. Navline attaches a proof to each off-chain data point, so those lines carry the same weight in the report as everything else.

## What you get

On Lagoon vaults, your NAV also powers the composition tab of the app. Depositors see what they hold, from the total NAV down to protocols, positions and tokens, and how each position is priced.

Around the valuation itself, Navline comes with the tools to run it day to day: Telegram reporting so your team sees each NAV as it lands, a NAV dashboard to follow the history of your vault, API and MCP access to plug the data into your own systems and agents, and automated on-chain updates on the schedule you set.

## Built by the team behind Lagoon

We didn't start from scratch. Lagoon has been running vault infrastructure since 2024, securing $300M TVL without a single bug or exploit. Navline is built by the same team, people who have been dealing with on-chain valuation and fund operations for years, and the technology behind it has been battle-tested for two years with the curator 9Summits, pricing their funds exactly as they configure them.

The goal is simple: make NAV more reliable and transparent for vault operators and their investors.
